Privacy Policy
How visitor and customer data is collected, used and protected on this site.
Who we are
The 35mm Archive is operated by Sille Fejerskov, an independent photographer based in Denmark. For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact sille.m.fejerskov@gmail.com.
What data is collected
Only the minimum data needed to operate the site and process licensing orders is collected:
- Visitors — if you accept analytics cookies, anonymised data (page views, approximate location, device type, referring site) is collected via Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
- Customers — when you purchase a licence, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing details, and payment information directly on their secure checkout page. This site never sees or stores your payment details.
- Inquiries — if you fill in the contact form, your name, email and message are sent via Formspree and received as email.
Why your data is used
- To process licensing orders and deliver image files (contract performance).
- To answer inquiries sent via the contact form (legitimate interest in responding to you).
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (consent-based analytics — disabled until you accept cookies).
Who your data is shared with
Your data is only shared with the third-party services strictly required to operate the site:
- Stripe (payment processing) — stripe.com/privacy
- Google Analytics (anonymised site usage, only with consent) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Formspree (contact form delivery) — formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy
- GitHub Pages (site hosting) — github.com privacy
Some of these providers are based outside the EU. They operate under standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards in line with GDPR.
Cookies
This site uses only one type of cookie:
- Google Analytics — anonymised, only loaded after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline (or do not respond), no analytics cookies are set.
To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will reappear on your next visit.
How long data is kept
- Stripe order data: kept as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations (typically 5 years under Danish bookkeeping law).
- Email correspondence: kept until the inquiry is resolved, then archived in line with reasonable business practice.
- Analytics data: retained by Google Analytics for the default period (14 months).
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the EU, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data held about you
- Ask for it to be corrected or deleted
- Object to or restrict its processing
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) if you believe your rights have been violated
To exercise any of these rights, email sille.m.fejerskov@gmail.com and your request will be handled within 30 days.
Security
Payment data never touches this website — it is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified (the highest standard for payment security). The site itself is served over HTTPS.
